I “came out as a Gaia Troubadour” in 1994 and ever since I’ve been gathering myself, preparing to put into words my vision of the planet as an organic wholeness.

I’ve finally gotten started in earnest in the fall of 2006. I posted a pretty good overview then.

The contemporary thinker I am most influenced by is Rupert Sheldrake, a biologist from Britain. His book, THE PRESENCE OF THE PAST: MORPHIC RESONANCE & THE HABITS OF NATURE, sketched out the world I feel I live in, with far more scholarship than I could ever muster. He’s spent the last decade or so trying to get the scientific establishment to take him seriously, and writing books with broad appeal like DOGS THAT KNOW WHEN THEIR OWNERS ARE COMING HOME AND OTHER UNEXPLAINED POWERS OF ANIMALS: AN INVESTIGATION. Reviews of these books are on his website, and much more.

Thanks to Friend Liz for suggesting I offer an introduction to myself.
